Rio Vista High School is in full swing. The library is a busy place. Students are looking for current events to present to their class and presentations are being created. Seniors and Juniors are beginning the search for the college of their dreams. New books for pleasure and information are being ordered.
I am planning a PR campaign in a couple of weeks – Hopefully that will stir interest and enthusiasm for reading and browsing in the library.
I am finally getting into a summer routine, which means "no routine at all"!! yeah!!! I have gotten hooked on audio books and it is my newest and most used form of reading these days. I have listened to James Patterson's The Fifth Horseman, Pride and Prejudice, Why do Men have Nipples by Mark Leyner, and now am slowly listening to The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman. It's very good but I've been sidetracked a little and will get back into it soon. I have been reading Blink which is quite interesting also. Happy Summer Reading!!
